Cooking Instructions


Syrnyky

Thaw the cottage cheese pancakes in the refrigerator.

To heat syrnyky choose one of the following methods:
a. Place them on a medium-heated skillet with butter and lightly fry.
b. Alternatively, place them on a baking sheet and heat them in the oven for 5 minutes at a temperature of 320°F.

Serve with sour cream or berry sauce.

Cabbage Rolls

Thaw cabbage rolls in the refrigerator.

Option 1 (for regular cabbage rolls):

Pour about 250 ml sauce or water over them.

If you left cabbage rolls in the foil tray wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Bake the cabbage rolls in the preheated oven for one hour.

Option 2 (for sour cabbage rolls):

Add 300 ml of water to the tray with cabbage rolls.

Cover them with a lid.

Preheat the oven to 320°F.

Bake the cabbage rolls in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.20 hours.

Afterward, add the sauce and bake them covered in the oven for an additional 30 minutes.

Borshch

Thaw the borscht in the refrigerator, then heat it without bringing it to a boil.

Nalisniki

Thaw the nalisniki in the refrigerator.

Option 1 (Sautéed Nalisniki):

Heat a skillet with a butter until it's hot.

Sauté the nalisniki in the skillet until they turn golden brown.

Option 2 (Baked Nalisniki):

Place the nalisniki on a baking sheet.

For your choice spread sour cream on top of each nalisnik.

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Bake the nalisniki in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Varenyky

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Carefully place the vareniki into the boiling water.

Stir gently to prevent sticking and wait until they float to the surface.

Once they float, continue boiling for an additional 3 minutes.

Carefully remove the cooked vareniki from the boiling water and transfer them to a deep plate.

Add a bit of oil butter to the vareniki to prevent them from sticking together.
